it provides the touch of mystery i needed for this one
i dunno if u ever been inside a japanese temple - the light strings that come in through the wooden pannels are amazing
i would greatly appreciate if in the future people just don't browse previous comments and copy paste their wisdom forth. try thinking on ur own and if u fail ask the artist what did he try to create in that piece. then think again
thank you

The light ray might have been intentional but even if you hear complains about it from a bunch of us you can continue to insist that we are morons for mentioning the same critique.
On the other hand it makes this composition unique and different from any other similar work.
For me it is still not working. There is also a section of her face which is a bit bright/overexposed causing lack of details. It might too been intentional but I would have tried to control that part better.

2. i'm posting here for exposure not for marks so feel free not to mention ur marks or whatever.
3. there is no such thing as a correct exposure in artistic photography. maybe if u try nude portraits that express nothing but silicone u'll want fair exposure. but when u want to transmit a feeling other things come into the problem.
special message to patrick: i did not call u morons

They (the others) and I made a point. You made yours.
Your composition and you are the artist.
No big issue.
Let us move on and be happy!
Morons? Who? Where?

Now serious!
I liked the photo! I liked the mood the light gave it! It may not be "by the book" lighting but for me it works here! I agree that sometimes overexposure is not a bad thing! At least IMHO.

The lighting is allready mentioned, so I won't do it again
Wish the eye (iris) was a bit sharper
